Kingsley
I’ve been doing this for as long as I can remember—but officially, it’s been 0 years, 0 months, and 0 days of going professional and fulfilling a dream that keeps evolving.
It started with curiosity: a young, budding UI/UX designer drawn to interfaces and interactions. That curiosity matured into product design, where I found real expression—solving problems, building systems, and shaping how people experience technology.
But it didn't stop there.
My passion for designing software led me deeper—beyond the screens and into the structure. I wanted to understand the full picture. I learned how software products are developed, how teams collaborate, and how great ideas become real. That path opened doors, and soon I wasn't just designing—I was leading. As Head of Product, I had the opportunity to manage not just interfaces, but vision, people, and execution.
So where am I now?
I'm mastering the bridge between design and engineering—stepping fully into the role of a UX Engineer. It's the space where I can design with precision, manage with clarity, and build with purpose. The goal is simple: to become the kind of maker who can contribute at every layer—visually, strategically, and technically.
Passion led me here. And it's what keeps me moving forward.
The Journey So Far
I'm a UX Engineer (Product Designer and Frontend Engineer) with over 7 years of experience creating digital products that seamlessly bridge beautiful design with robust technical implementation.
My unique combination of design expertise and frontend development skills allows me to move fluidly from concept to code, ensuring experiences are visually compelling, technically feasible, and performant. This dual perspective eliminates typical friction between design handoffs and engineering—I design with development constraints in mind while building interfaces that honour the original design vision.
From early-stage startups to established tech companies, I've led cross-functional initiatives across mobile and web platforms, scaling design systems while writing the frontend code that brings them to life. This approach has streamlined UX flows, delivered pixel-perfect interfaces, and optimised performance, boosting adoption rates, reducing churn, and accelerating time-to-market. My work helped grow a product from 9,000 to over 20,000+ users and significantly increased revenue.
I maintain both skill sets because the best digital products emerge when design and development work in harmony, not silos. Understanding both user emotional journeys and technical architecture enables informed decisions that optimise for user delight and system performance, resulting in fewer iterations, faster delivery, and cohesive products from interaction to codebase.
Currently leading products at Eze, I build and scale digital solutions that drive revenue, user engagement, and operational efficiency, handling everything from user research to frontend implementation.
Beyond The Screen
I wear many hats—product designer by profession, photographer by passion, and flag footballer by sheer love of the game. I'm also a speaker and mentor, committed to empowering the next generation of creatives and sharing insights on global stages.
Each role fuels a different side of me. I create with purpose, connect with people, compete with heart, and give back with intention.
I also run a foundation close to my heart, focused on uplifting underserved people and communities through gifts, creativity, education, and opportunity. You can read more about the work we’re doing here.
